About this data

The Umweltbundesamt compiles the list from information reported by the states and municipalities. It states that the municipalities are responsible for the accuracy of the entries. The list reported 35 zones in force and 23 revoked ones when we retrieved it. Which vehicles are exempt and what a missing sticker costs is explained on the Umweltbundesamt page on low emission zones.

This is reference information, not legal advice. Check with the authority responsible for the zone before you drive.
